Special note goes to our Girls 2016/17 U10 team who reached the final of the MGL Cup and our U18
Boys Team who reached the final of their SDFL Cup.  On a personal level Josh Perrem and Emma
Daughtry Lamb (U12 Boys & Girls) were selected for League representative honours.

The Academy is for our youngest club members - both boys and girls born in 2010 (U7), 2011 (U6), 2012 (U5), and 2013 (U5). We train from September through June on Saturday mornings at 9AM on the all weather pitch in the grounds of Castle Park School in Dalkey (Castlepark Road).

Our Boys U13 Sunday DDSL Division 3 team, although having been late entrants, won their League
with a game to spare in a thrilling victory away to Knocklyon Utd. on a freezing December Sunday
morning. The boys scored in total 56 goals and conceded 24 and according to Managers Stephen
O’Brien, Cathal McDonnell and Nigel Bray were a pleasure to coach and entertaining to watch for the
many family, friends and the general public who ventured into Hyde Park on a Sunday morning to
watch the fare on offer.
U13: Back row: Nigel Bray, Cathal McDonnell, Eli O’Reilly, Paddy Ward Dillon, James Ward, Jack Sloos, Oscar

Congratulations to our U16s team who achieved unprecedented success in winning the SDFL First Division league title with two games to spare, while remaining unbeaten for the entire campaign.
It’s a remarkable achievement to not only go a whole campaign without tasting defeat, but to do it playing a style of football that was a joy to watch. The squad performed and behaved impeccably throughout the season and have been a credit to both themselves and the club.
The team will now began life in the U17s SDFL Premier Division as a newly promoted team with high expectations off the back of their incredible road to glory and are sure to claim some notable scalps during what promises to be an action-packed season.
